My Adventure
Dear community,
There are moments in our life that define the tipping points in our mental capacity. For a lot of people, this can be moving out for the first time, getting into a serious relationship, getting children of our own. All of these events cause us to look at the same things differently. Let’s take a lollipop for example, when we were young, lollipops were a source of joy. When we get into university, the lollipop is a statement of old fashion. When we have our children, a lollipop may mean a couple of minutes of silence in the house or an educational motivator for our children. The same object takes on different meanings. This sets the tone of my return.
I am back. After going into full-on momentum with my Master's degree, I have graduated. September 2019, I walked on stage with my neatly dressed suit and proud smile. The two minutes of glory on stage never felt so amazing before. A well-deserved breakthrough.
Lots of people ask me how I feel graduating Master’s and I must say, It changed my perspective about how I approach a lot of questions that I have already answered in the past. The conclusion of graduating Master’s is:
“I feel a lot more stupid.”
My Thoughts
Now I want to come back and re-look this question I have posed as “what is the meaning of life?”
I mean, one of the biggest paradigm shifts I gain from the degree is to learn:
“Do not assume anything until I have proven it or I can refer to someone else’s work that has proved my concept”
Some questions that my blogs never answered was things like:
1. What do I perceive as “life”?
2. What kinds of life am I referring to?
3. What do I see as “meaning”?
4. Who has studied this topic before?
5. Etc.
So I decided to come back to this blog and continue with my adventure on establishing the meaning of life.
See you all in the later blogs where I discuss these question further 😊
